When you first come to Tyneside Dental, you’ll be welcomed by our experienced and knowledgeable reception team.

Whether you’ve got in touch by phone or you’ve popped in to say hello in person, they will take time to understand your specific needs, answer your questions and ensure that you get the treatment that you need.

General dentistry treatment…

If you need a routine checkup, an emergency dentist appointment, or other general dentistry service, we will first offer you a comprehensive assessment including x-rays and a treatment plan.

This ensures that we understand the overall state of your oral health and can spot and potentially fix any problems.

If you need emergency care, we’ll book you straight in with a dentist who can relieve your pain and discomfort and help you get your healthy smile back quickly.

Cosmetic dentistry or advanced dental care…

If you’re enquiring about a cosmetic treatment such as SmileFast Makeovers, tooth whitening, dental crowns or similar, or you require advanced dental care such as root canal or oral surgery, we offer a personalised and comprehensive consultation process.

You can choose between an in-person or telephone conversation with our Treatment Coordinator (TCO) where you can discuss your goals, ask any questions you have and get personalised information about our services, treatment options, and associated costs.

We understand that you need to be fully informed about treatment before you decide whether it’s right for you. That’s why we can also email you further information if required. We want to make sure you are completely comfortable with your treatment plan so don’t worry about asking questions. It’s what we’re here for.

Receive your tailored treatment plan

If you decide to go ahead, your Treatment Coordinator will make you an appointment with your dentist where you can have a full dental health assessment and discuss your treatment plan in more detail. Your treatment will be tailored to your precise requirements, ensuring you’re comfortable with the pace and scope of the work.

Don’t worry if you’ve forgotten to ask something. Your Treatment Coordinator will be available throughout to discuss your treatment and answer any questions.

When you decide to go ahead with treatment, you can give us a call or pop in to book your appointment. We will work to find a convenient time for treatment that suits your needs and busy lifestyle wherever possible.
